Tariqah Qalamiyyah

The Tariqah Qalamiyyah (The Qalamiyyah Path of Knowledge and Inspiration) is a spiritual path open to people of all religions and beliefs. It seeks to create love and fellowship among people of different religions and spiritual traditions who are interested in the spiritual path of gaining the recognition of God and drawing closer to him. It is a path of learning and self-development and the exchange of knowledge, insights and inspiration. It draws its inspiration from the various spiritual traditions of the world, especially Islam, Christianity and the Baha’i Faith. It particularly draws knowledge about the spiritual path from the Twelve Imams from the lineage of the Prophet Muhammad, the two great scholars and theosophist, Sheykh Ahmad Ahsa’i and Sayyid Kazim Rashti, and the Bab and Baha’u’llah, all of whom have greatly contributed to understanding the spiritual path.

The essence of the Tariqah Qalamiyyah is the oneness of humanity as it acknowledges all of humanity as a single family and values all religions and spiritual traditions that contribute to the understanding of spirituality and wisdom. It seeks to explore ways of developing the inner self as well as creating a more harmonious world. As well as upholding the right of every individual to freely investigate the truth, it strives to remove prejudice of all kinds and promote universal Peace.

A major goal of the path is to enable human beings to become the centres of divine inspiration. Although the Prophets of God are held to be the dawning places of divine inspiration, it is based on the belief that ordinary human beings can also get a share of divine inspiration by living a spiritual life and reflecting on the universe and the words of God. The Tariqah upholds the twelve basic principles of the Baha’i Faith which can be seen on this website. For the exchange of knowledge and insights, the Tariqah has a Whatsapp group which is open to members of different religions and spiritual traditions.
