Progressive Revelation

The Baha’i Faith teaches that divine revelation has always continued and will continue forever, as mankind is always in need of divine guidance. In the last 6000 years there have been nine independent Prophets or Manifestations of God, who founded New, Unique and Independent Religions for mankind. They were Adam, Moses, Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster, Jesus, Muhammad, The Bab and Baha’u’llah. The Bab who appeared in 1844 in Sheraz, Iran opened the doors to a NEW AGE known as the Day of God. It is the AGE of the establishment of God’s Kingdom in this world. Muhammad was the final prophet who foretold this GREAT DAY and therefore, the Qur’an designated him as the SEAL of the Prophets. Today, we are in the DAY OF GOD and the current Manifestation of God is Baha’u’llah. He is the Return of Christ awaited by Muslims and Christians.
